The Road Ahead (Volume 1)
Marquise was first seen on the buses when the group broke down on the highway. He was later seen again fighting off infected when the buses were attacked just before night.
He was among those who witnessed Shirley put down an infected Linda, after witnessing this, he ran off further down the highway.
Marquise was not seen until nearly three days later where he arrived at the Resort where Bugsy and a few others had taken shelter. During his time there, he primarily stuck with Bugsy smoking marijuana.
Despite the safety of the resort, Marquise decided to leave to go and find his uncle who was a member of the country club in White Horse Creek, only leaving a note and the drugs behind for Bugsy.
He was later seen once again, barging into the club having been bitten. Marquise who was clearly suffering from the later stages of the flu demanded to know where his uncle was in a delirious state. The group denied knowing anything about his missing uncle who had unbeknownst to the group been one of the bodies found at the site of the sacrificial killings in the atrium.
Before the group could restrain Marquise, he lost conscious due to his condition worsening. The group argued over what to do, and before they could decide Chuck bludgeoned him to death with an axe in cold blood.
His corpse was seen being hauled out by Derrick who respectfully buried him and gave him a small funeral. Before Derrick left the country club, he once again visited Marquise's grave and apologized to him, laying flowers down.
